Join a Spectacular Summer Program
and Volunteer With Us!
"Verano al Cien!" or "Summer at 100!" is the name of SRA Ministries' first Adult English as a Second Language Summer Program. Volunteers will be able to jump in and assist dialogues with adult students and help teachers throughout many other activities.
You will be helping the Latino adults in learning to communicate themselves in English, allowing them to be more productive at job, school, and everywhere else!
The classes will be held in two different locations and times, and you can select the location that you want to participate and volunteer. We work with you on what type of experience you will want to do (on line and/or in-person).
You do not need teaching experience and do not need to speak in Spanish. All you need is your ability to be friendly and conversational with people. This is a 2-hours per class volunteer commitment.
June 6th to July 22nd (7 Weeks)

on line - from 7:30 - 8:30 PM
in person - from 7:00 - 8:30 PM
Volunteer opportunities:

Minimum Requirements:
-
Be at least 17 years of age by the time the Summer Program begins.

Be able to transport from home to the site of the Summer Program.

Fluent in English
-
Have Social Skills, friendly, enthusiastic

Experience managing social media (if possible)

Computer literacy: prefer if you own a laptop or tablet. (if possible)
