The English as a Second Language program for adults and young adults offered by SRA Ministries is called "Communicate!" By helping individuals in learning the fundamentals of the English language, you will provide them the chance to communicate in English and help them be more effective at work, school, and everywhere else.

You do not need to speak another language nor have teaching experience! All you need is your ability to be friendly and conversational with people.

Requirements:

• Be able to teach online, Monday/Tuesday from 7:00PM to 8:30PM. or In-Person Monday and Tuesday at the Garland location.

• Have knowledge and experience using the ZOOM app.

• Have knowledge using Google and/or Microsoft applications.

• Have your own computer device (laptop or tablet).

• Age 17 or older

• Have a reliable transportation to travel from your home to locations as needed.

• Must be available September 6th through December 10th.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creatively implement the activities scheduled in the school calendar,

• Use WhatsApp to communicate with the group of students.

• Possibly participate in monthly meetings to discuss student progress, share best practices, and plan social events.

 

Optional Duties:

• Assist the SRA Ministries staff with the planning possible social events (field trips) and community service projects.

• Collaborate with the promotion/marketing of the classes and with student recruitment.
