I want to personally welcome you to Saint Romero of America Ministries (SRA Ministries), a wonderful place where faith and community action share a common ground, and come together to serve all people, because each and every person is deeply loved by God.
Under the patronage of San Romero de las Americas, our Saint Romero of America Ministries is inspired to continue with the life and the mission of the former Salvadoran Archbishop Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero, who was raised to the altars in holiness because of his constant dedication to those in most need. We want to follow in his footsteps and empower every person we come in touch with so that they too can aspire for a better tomorrow.
We are constantly seeking to create partnerships within the community with various organizations. Feel free to contact us if you want to partner with us as a donor or as a partnering organization. We are also constantly seeking volunteers to become a part of this wonderful organization. Get in touch with us and be one of us.
May God bless you! ¡Dios te Bendiga!
Rev. Angel Del Rio

Who Was Monsignor Romero?
Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez was a Salvadoran Roman Catholic archbishop who was a vocal critic of the violent activities of government armed forces, right-wing groups, and leftist guerrillas involved in El Salvador’s civil conflict.
His unreserved advocacy for human rights made him a hero to many, and he was nominated for the 1979 Nobel Prize for Peace by a number of U.S. congressmen and 118 members of the British Parliament. The following year Romero was assassinated at the hands of an unknown assailant while celebrating the Eucharist.
Over the years we, at Saint Romero of America Ministries, have strived to follow in the footsteps of the Salvadoran martyr archbishop, for his activist work for human rights and his desire to help those most in need. From this trajectory, five aspects have remained constant: our activities based on the biblical and theological foundations of Catholic social teaching, our support for individuals and families, the participation of volunteers, the critical role of donors and philanthropic organizations and our ability to adapt to the changing needs of our community through a wide range of services for the poor and vulnerable in an including way.
