WELCOME
I welcome you to Saint Romero of America Ministries (SRA Ministries). In this beautiful place, faith and community action share a common ground and come together to serve all people because God profoundly loves every person.
Under the patronage of San Romero de las Americas, our Saint Romero of America Ministries is inspired to continue with the life and the mission of the former Salvadoran Archbishop Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero, who was raised to the altars in holiness because of his constant dedication to those in most need. We want to follow in his footsteps and empower every person we come in touch with so that they, too, can aspire for a better tomorrow.
We embody our mission and vision through our service to the community.
We are constantly seeking to create partnerships within the community with various organizations. Feel free to contact us if you want to partner with us as a donor or as a partnering organization. We are also constantly seeking volunteers to join this wonderful organization. Get in touch with us and be one of us.
May God bless you! ¡Dios te Bendiga!

Who Was Monsignor Romero?
Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez was a Salvadoran Roman Catholic archbishop who was a vocal critic of the violent activities of government armed forces, right-wing groups, and leftist guerrillas involved in El Salvador’s civil conflict.
His direct advocacy for human rights made him a hero to many. He was nominated for the 1979 Nobel Prize for Peace by several U.S. congressmen and 118 members of the British Parliament. Romero was assassinated by an unknown assailant the following year while celebrating the Eucharist.
Saint Romero of America Ministries has made it a priority over the years to continue the work of this martyred Salvadoran archbishop in this new context which is the people of Dallas Forth Worth. Four things have remained constant along the way: our dedication to empowering people, their families, and the community; the significance of volunteers enjoying the satisfaction of helping others; the crucial role that donors and philanthropic organizations play; and our capacity to adjust to the shifting needs of our community.
