Become a Volunteer Virtual ESL Teacher for the Summer School

We Invite You to Become a Virtual ESL Teacher!

Summer is about to start, and SRA Ministries is already planning for their ESL Virtual Session that will begin on the second week of June, (Tuesday, June the 6th) and will last until July (Thursday, July the 20th). Sessions will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00PM to 8:30PM for 6 weeks. Each class will be transmitted live using the Zoom application.

Note: The Summer session is a 6-weeks program for students from the Spring Session. This program is designed to reinforce the learning from the Spring session.

Minimum Requirements to become an ESL Teacher:

. To be at least 18 years of age

. To be working on college credits or graduated from college.

. Have a computer device (laptop, desktop, or tablet) and headset with microphone.

. Be able to connect to the Internet through a landline, WIFI, or Internet cable Ethernet.

. Available to teach alone or coteach with someone else on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 12 weeks from 7:00PM to 8:30PM

. Available to virtually meet with the SRA Ministries team on Sunday evenings (only when needed) for further trainings and updates.

Note:

• You may purchase a laptop and/or headsets at a reduced price from our store if need it. We accept all type of Credit and Debit Cards. We can also accept your cash transaction by simply contacting us and letting us that cash is your preferred method of payment.  We can even deliver your purchased items to your home or you can pick them up at our office.
• Both teacher volunteers and students are asked to make a small contribution to cover the cost for their books. Teacher volunteer’s donation is $25.00.
• We will also provide you with initial training and continuous support.
• You may even want to consider select to meet with your students one day to meet and greet in-person if weather and health restrictions permit!
