Monday and Tuesday - 7:00 - 8:30PM (In-Person)

Requirements:

Complete a total of 450 hours during the 12 weeks arranged through the following activities: In-person classes, online student support, online office hour, planning hours, home calling, etc. SRA Ministries' ESL Coordinator will help you build the best schedule that will work for you!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Successfully implement the activities included in the curriculum by following the class schedule,
-
Review student assignments, and other possible student projects.

Make regular phone calls and/or zoom conferences to keep track of participating students.

Use WhatsApp to communicate with the group of students.
-
Participate in monthly meetings to discuss student progress, share best practices, and plan social events.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Assist the SRA Ministries staff with the planning possible social events (karaoke night, field trips, etc.) and community service projects.

Collaborate with the promotion/marketing of the classes and with student recruitment.
Requirements:

Age 17 or older

US citizen or permanent resident

AmeriCorps requires that the hired candidate serve 450 hours distributed in 12 weeks (Sept. 6th - Dec. 10th).

Must be available September 6th through December 10th

Must have a valid driver's license with car insurance and reliable transportation to travel from your home to the educational site, SRA Ministries offices, and other locations as needed.
Benefits:

$4,500.00 Total Living Allowance broken into bi-weekly checks.

$1,718.00 Education Award, distributed after successful completion of the program and can be used for existing student loans or future education expenses like tuition and books.
Additional Qualifications:

Have knowledge and experience using Google and Microsoft applications.
